Welcome to yoga school Anahata 27.09.2026. 9:00-12:00.  Iyengar yoga teacher Kristīne Mackeviča.

During group practice and master classes, we can stay in the asana more consciously and for longer. By staying in the asana for a longer period of time, we give the physical body the opportunity to understand more nuanced movements. Conscious staying in the asana resonates in the mental level.

During three hours, there is enough time to work progressively with asanas, alignment, props and pranayama, allowing the body and mind to settle into a more focused and attentive state.

A 3-hour practice allows you to:

  • Go deeper into the asanas – explore alignment, stability and precision with more time and attention.
  • Understand your body better – props help make the practice accessible while revealing where you need support, strength or greater awareness.
  • Develop strength and stability – longer, progressive practice creates an opportunity to build both physical and mental steadiness.
  • Improve concentration – sustained practice encourages a quieter, more focused mind.
  • Experience pranayama – after the body has been prepared through asana, there is time to explore conscious breathing and its relationship with the mind.
  • Connect practice with awareness – Iyengar Yoga is not simply about flexibility or achieving a pose; it is about developing intelligence, sensitivity and presence.
  • Experience a complete practice – the combination of asana and pranayama creates a richer and more balanced practice than a shorter class can offer.

A three-hour class is  is about having enough time to explore, understand and experience the practice more deeply.

Whether you are an experienced practitioner or are discovering a deeper dimension of Iyengar Yoga, this extended practice offers an opportunity to slow down, refine your awareness and experience the transformative potential of yoga.

Let us practice together asanas and pranayama.
